Paul, if you're looking for Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz? Look elsewhere. This movie was cute. Best way to put it. If it weren't for the language it would have been everything it was paying homage to. So, if you enjoyed E.T. or Close Encounters? You'll enjoy this. Granted there was other more adult Sci-Fi references, but those were the main two by far.

I watched FINAL DESTINATION 5 the other night and then FD 2 the night after that (but only because it was on the CW and I'd already seen the shows on FOX) Now if you haven't seen it I won't give away any specifics but they've managed to revive the series by adding a new wrinkle to the rules...something that can be a big game changer if future sequels are made. The kills are bloodier, more imaginative than they've ever been, and fun as hell to watch. Also the ending to this film is not anything you see coming, I'll just say that it brings the entire series full circle. You must see it if you haven't already.
