Captain America Pretty damn great. Loved everything about it. Might be the best super hero film ever. Really? Better than Hellboy 2 and The Dark Knight even? Definitely better than Hellboy 2 and better than The Dark Knight, IMO. I'm not the biggest fans of Nolan's films, so keep that in mind. Captain America was just a helluva lot of fun. |

Captain America Pretty damn great. Loved everything about it. Might be the best super hero film ever. I wouldn't call it the greatest superhero movie ever made but it definitely rates as one of the better offerings of late. I can't wait to see how they continue Cap's story in THE AVENGERS. But why is it Marvel seems to get it mostly right when it comes to adapting their properties to live-action, but outside of Superman and Batman, DC just can't seem to get the job done? Of course even then they only run a 50/50 average. The first two films in the original Superman-Batman series were good but after that....straight downhill. That's why I hope Dark Knight Rises doesn't suffer from the dreadful Curse of Three (and you all know what I'm talking about) |
