Enjoyed this more than the Halloween remake, but it still fell a bit flat.

I enjoyed this more as well. It's just typical though. I would love to see Jason in a different terrain other than Crystal Lake. I think that's a big problem with most of these franchises. They need to open up the killing field a bit more. Jason can easily decapitate someone in Florida. Location shouldn't mean jack. Story, acting and direction are what matters most.
