The Automatic Detective by A. Lee Martinez or A Game Of Thrones by George R. R. Martin.
If I had to name a top 10 it would probably be about 100 books

The Book of Joe by Jonathon Tropper. Easily one of my favourite books of all times. Not available at the library.  I found it at a used book store to be honest. Had never heard of it before and took a chance on it. God damn did it pay off. If graphic novels count then "Watchmen" would have to be up there for me. Also this one is an obvious one but "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" ranks very highly for me. |
